The Presidency

Massimo Goldoni
(UNACOMA President)

Born at Carpi near Modena in 1963, he comes from the family firm of the same name, a leading maker of tractors and specialized equipment for vineyards, orchards and park maintenance.

He has filled various roles within the firm, which he joined in 1983, aged just 20. His main posts in an organization which has over 400 employees, turnover of 80 million euros and exports half its output, primarily in the Mediterranean basin and northern Europe, were initially concerned with the technical and regulatory aspects of manufacturing.

But he also ran the sales outlet in Portugal and, more recently, has been involved in marketing and communications. He was a member of the UNACOMA directive council from 1997 to 2003 and a vice-president of the association from June, 2003 to June, 2004.

He was elected president on June 24, 2004. He is also a council member at ENAMA since April, 2005, and became its president on June 8, 2005. He is married with two children
